We’re glad you’re here to learn a little more about our chapter!

Our Chapter Day meets on Tuesday mornings at 9:00AM*.  Our day begins with morning prayer, chorus and the Pledge of Allegiance. Children then move into their home rooms, where they learn and review memory work. Each class rotates through a hands-on art class and science as well and returns to home room for snack time and presentations. At lunch time we all join back together for our meal, fellowship, and fun. We also offer an optional afternoon program for the 4th-6th grade (upper grammar level) students in IEW (Institute for Excellence in Writing).

For 2024-2025, each family is responsible for purchasing a Tour 2 Tour Guide, Memory Work CDs [or app subscription], and History Cards. This is called the Core Curriculum Bundle. You are welcome to purchase it yourself, directly from the Catholic Schoolhouse Store. But if you prefer to save money, the Team Director and Supply Coordinator can make two bulk orders for the chapter on May 10 and August 10. If you submit your order in time for either of those dates, you will pay only $99 [discounted, plus no tax or shipping]. *NOTE: In lieu of buying the CDs, you can sign up for a monthly subscription to the CSH App (the app itself is free) for $1.99 per month.

Additionally, in an effort to further support the homeschooling families within our chapter, we are offering an optional +PLUS Day on Thursdays to have classes in core curriculum subjects. Please see the information below for more details.

*Our host facility, St. Frances Cabrini, has daily Mass at 8:00 a.m., preceded by Confession at 7:30. The pastor has invited us to join, so for those families who are able to get there by 8, please do join us!!
